Instructions
Plug in and then let the Waffle Iron rest to warm.
In a large bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
In a medium bowl, measure and then pour in 1 3/4 cup milk.
Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla to the milk, then mix well.
In a microwavable bowl, melt the 3 Tablespoons butter, and then let it sit to cool before adding to the wet ingredients.
Spray the Waffle Iron with a non-stick spray on the top and bottom.
Using a measuring cup, scoop out batter and then pour onto the hot griddle so the entire surface is covered in a thin layer of batter.
Close the Waffle Iron and then flip it over, then let it cook the batter until it is done, and the Waffle is slightly browned.
Cook the rest of the Waffles and then stack them on a plate.
Finally, serve the Waffles with butter and maple syrup.
Notes
Do not add warm butter with the eggs as it can cause the eggs to cook before you want them to.
