Spray two 4 X 8-inch loaf pans with a non-stick spray and then set aside.
In a large bowl mix together 3 1/4 cup flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1 tsp nutmeg, and 1/2 tsp cloves, then set aside.
In the bowl of a KitchenAid mixer, combine 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup applesauce on low.
Add the 4 eggs one at a time and then blend well on low.
Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar to the mixing bowl and then mix to combine.
Open a 15-oz can of pumpkin and then use a spatula and add the contents to the mixing bowl, then combine on low.
Add 2/3 cup water to the mixture and then turn on low to combine.
Pour in half of the flour mixture and blend until just combined.
Add remaining flour mixture and then slowly mix well.
Next, divide the Pumpkin Streusel batter between the two prepared loaf pans, then set aside.
Streusel Topping Directions
In a microwave save bowl melt 1/4 cup butter.
Add in 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 2 tsp cinnamon and then mix well.
When crumbly, evenly distribute over batter in loaf pans.
Finally, bake for 25 minutes, then rotate pans and bake an additional 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center is clean.
