Line a Baking Stone or Rimmed Baking Sheet with parchment paper, then set aside.
Add the blade attachment to the bowl of a Cuisinart Food Processor.
To the bowl of a Cuisinart Food Processor, measure and then add 2 cups Flour, 2 tsp Baking Powder, 1 Tbsp Sugar, 1/2 tsp Salt and process for 10 seconds.
Cut 6 Tbsp COLD butter into 1/4-inch cubes and then add the butter to the processor. Reserve 2 Tbsp for later.
Pulse the processor to combine 6 Tbsp butter into the dry ingredients.
Slowly add the 2 Tbsp Oil through the tube and process to mix.
Slowly add the 1/3 cup Water through the tube and process to combine until a dough ball forms.
Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and roll out as thin as possible, using a rolling pin.
Using a cookie cutout, cut out the cracker shapes and then transfer them to the parchment lined baking stones.
Pole holes in each cracker, 2, 3 and 2. This is easiest with the point of a chopstick.
Crack an egg into a small bowl, whisk with a fork, then brush the tops of all of the crackers with the egg.
Sprinkle the tops with coarse salt.
Bake the DIY Ritz Crackers for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a microwave safe bowl.
Remove the crackers from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter immediately or rub the butter directly onto the crackers.
Transfer the crackers to a cooling rack while still warm.
Cool the DIY Ritz Crackers on a cooling rack complete before serving.
