1/2
Watermelon
4-6
Tbsp
Honey
Instructions
Place a rimmed baking sheet on the countertop.
Lay a sheet of wax paper on the baking sheet, then set aside.
On a cutting board, cut the watermelon into large wedges.
Cut the watermelon out of the rind, then cut the wedge into 1-2-inch cubes.
Transfer the cubed watermelon onto the prepared baking sheets, so they are not touching.
Freeze the watermelon for 4-6 hours.
When frozen, remove the baking sheet from the freezer and then insert the chopping blade into a Cuisinart Food Processor.
Place a handful of the frozen watermelon cubes into the food processor and then add 1 Tablespoon Honey.
Cover the processor and then process the watermelon until it is fully blended. You may need to scrape the sides of the bowl down with a spatula.
Transfer the processed and smooth watermelon to a freezer-safe container, with a lid, and set aside as you process more.
Continue to process the rest of the watermelon, adding honey to each batch, until all of the watermelon is processed.
When done processing the watermelon, smooth out the top with a spatula, cover the container and place in the freezer.
Remove the Watermelon Sorbet from the freezer and then serve and enjoy!
Notes
Remove the watermelon sorbet from the freezer and rest on the counter for 5 minutes before serving.
