From Scratch Pumpkin Dog Treats Your Dog Will LOVE

Equipment

  • Baking Stone
  • KitchenAid Mixer paddle attachment

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Pumpkin
  • 1 Banana

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grab a baking sheet or baking stone and then set aside.
  • Place 1 very ripe banana in the bowl and then mash well.
  • Add 2 eggs to the bowl and then mix well.
  • Add 1 cup pumpkin puree to the bowl and mix all together until completely combined.
  • Add the flour, 1 cup at a time, and mix on slow until blended.
  • Lightly dust a clean countertop and then turn out Pumpkin Dog Treat mixture onto the floured surface.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to 1/8-inch-thick dusting the top of the Pumpkin Banana dough with flour to prevent the rolling pin from sticking.
  • Use a bone cookie cut-out and take pieces out of the form, then place them on a baking stone.
  • Poke the Pumpkin Dog Treats with a fork to pierce the dough at least three times each. This will allow them to bake and lay flat and not puff up.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned.
  • Remove the baking stone from the oven and rest for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool.
  • Let the Pumpkin Dog Treats cool completely before serving to your doggo!
