Instructions
Directions for Asparagus
Rinse the asparagus in a sink colander.
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and then set aside.
Open the package of bacon and then rest the bacon aside the baking sheet on a plate.
Then pick up one slice of bacon and three pieces of asparagus.
Start wrapping the bacon at the base of the asparagus and, while rotating the asparagus, wrap the bacon around them until you get to the end of your slice.
Set your bacon wrapped asparagus, with the seams down, on the baking sheet.
Continue wrapping with each of your slices of bacon until all of your asparagus is gone.
Directions for Potato Wedges
Prepare the potatoes by washing them in the sink colander.
Cut each potato in half, then in thirds with the knife at a slight angle giving the potato a nice wedge shape.
Place potato wedges in a large bowl when cut.
Drizzle oil over potatoes and then stir to coat every wedge.
Lay three potatoes between each asparagus bundle on the sprayed sheet.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and chili powder if desired.
Bake at 400 degrees until bacon is cooked. Flip asparagus halfway so each side can get cooked.
Turn on the broil setting and then place baking sheet with asparagus wrapped bacon and potatoes in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes to finish off the bacon with a nice sear.
Directions for Crockpot Spareribs
With a sharp knife, cut open the ribs while on a cutting board to catch juices.
On the underside of the Spareribs, use a knife and make a small cut on one bone to then release the silver skin.
Grip the silver skin and gently pull it away from the meat and bones, keep ripping it off until none remain.
Cut the Spareribs into thirds to fit into a regular sized Crockpot.
Season both sides with a BBQ seasoning rub.
Place each section into the Crockpot and then cover with the lid.
Turn the temperature on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 4 to hours.
Remove the Spareribs with a metal tong and then place on a baking sheet.
Turn the oven onto the broil setting and place the baking sheet in the oven, keep watching the ribs so they do not burn, around 1 to 2 minutes.
Finally, remove from the oven and serve with bacon wrapped asparagus and potato wedges.
