Having a fun family time, enjoying the backyard patio, is a great way to explore new recipes. Traditional Pudgy Pies use bread as the outer layer for the Pudgy Pie.
As we were exploring a new recipe, we wanted to use a different medium to make Pudgy Pies. Pizza Dough, when made from scratch, proves a decent and reliable crust option.
Using pizza dough brings about only one option and making Pizza Pudgy Pies using a similar Calzone filling sounded like the best replacement for the filling.
This recipe for Pizza Pudgy Pies was incredibly easy to make and a very delicious resulting texture and finish.
