When served with the perfect rice and Naan, Savory Pork Masala is a meal that is delicious and so flavorful. This is one dinner idea that can be versatile with which foods you pair it with. In this blog, I will share how to make Pork Masala savory with zucchini, onions and peppers.

Serve with Naan and white rice
This recipe would not be complete without homemade Naan.
Naan is soft and fluffy with such a great flavor and helps to make this recipe for Pork Tikka Masala so amazing and delicious.
Since making Naan from scratch a few years ago, we have not been able to eat store-bought varieties as they tend to have preservatives and added ingredients. This specific recipe for Naan has only seven ingredients.


Recipe
Ingredients for Savory Pork Tikka Masala
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp Chili powder
1 Tbsp ground ginger
Pork Tenderloin
1 tsp cinnamon
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp butter
2 tsp paprika
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
White rice


Directions for Savory Pork Tikka Masala
1. In a medium bowl, add Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, Chili powder, black pepper, ginger, 1/2 tsp salt and then whisk well to combine and set aside.


2. On a cutting board, remove the silver skin from the pork tenderloin and then cut into 1-inch-thick slices.


3. Place the cut tenderloins into the mixture and then mix well. Cover the bowl and rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
These bowls from Wolfgang Puck are great with lids that fit each bowl.
The non-slip silicone bases help to keep the bowls steady while stirring on the countertop.


4. In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon oil, then cook the marinated pork tenderloin until the juices run clear, around 10-15 minutes.


5. Once the pork tenderloin is cooked, remove it from the saucepan and then place it in a dish and set aside.
6. To the saucepan where the pork tenderloin was cooking, melt 1 tablespoon butter making sure to scrape up any bits on the pan to incorporate them into the sauce.
7. To the melted butter, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute and make sure to stir up any bits on the pan.
8. To the garlic, add 2 teaspoons cumin, 2 teaspoons paprika, 1/4 teaspoon salt and then whisk well.


9. Stir in 1 can tomato sauce and then whisk well to combine.


10. Add heavy cream to the sauce and then whisk well to combine.


11. Simmer the sauce until thickened, then add the pork tenderloin back to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

Veggies directions
1. Firstly, on a cutting board dice an onion, then set aside.


2. Secondly, wash the zucchini in a sink colander and dice zucchini on a cutting board, and then set aside.


3. Thirdly, in a sink colander wash and then dice sweet peppers on a cutting board, then set aside.


4. To a medium saucepan, add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil and then warm it to medium.
5. Sauté the vegetables in the oil and butter until tender.


Rice directions
Firstly, rinse the rice at least 3 times, making sure the rice water runs clear.
Cover the rice in water and swirl it around clockwise, then strain it with a mesh strainer.


Then cook the rice according to the package instructions.
Serve the Savory Pork Tikka Masala
Serve the masala by platting it with rice, veggies and then top it with the Pork Tikka Masala, homemade Naan and sauce.

Savory Pork Tikka Masala Recipe
Equipment
- Saucepan Large
- Spatula
- Cutting board

- Finally, serve the masala by platting it with rice, veggies and then top it with the Pork Tikka Masala, homemade Naan and sauce.
